GREEN CITIES FOR A SUSTAINABLE EUROPE





Conveying expert knowledge – building networks: Kick-off for seminar series “Green Cities for a sustainable Europe” at GaLaBau 2018!

Bund deutscher Baumschulen (BdB) e.V., the German nurserystock association, will hold the very first seminar on greening cities in the line of its new “Green Cities for a sustainable Europe” campaign.

Discuss with our three keynote speakers:

Prof. Dr. Dirk Dujesiefken, Institut für Baumpflege:
„Perspectives on a sustainable urban green“

Prof. Dr. Swantje Duthweiler, Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf:
„Urban tree planning – On the benefits of city trees“

Horst J. Schumacher, Publizist, Chefredakteur „Kommunalwirtschaft“:
„Urban green as an integral part of urban planning“

The seminar will be offered three times:

1st run: 10:30 – 11:45

2nd run: 12:15 – 13:30

3rd run: 14:00 – 15:15

Please note that the seminar will be held in German.

“Green Cities for a sustainable Europe” is a campaign initiated by the European Nurserystock Association (ENA) and funded by CHAFEA (Consumers, Health, Agriculture and Food Agency) of the European Commission. In Germany, the campaign is carried out by Bund deutscher Baumschulen (BdB) e.V.
